The History of St. Paul’s
The Presbyterian Church in Lismore commenced with the first service conducted in 1856 by Rev. Dr John Dunnmore Lang (of Lang Park Brisbane fame).
Lismore district welcomed its first and only minister for the area in 1871…. Rev. Daniel Blue. By 1881 the foundation stone had been laid for the first building. A growing population saw the current St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church Lismore built in 1908 at a cost of 2,400 Pound.
Since that time a pipe organ, stained glass windows, elders court and much more has been added to this beautiful historic building.
